This is an easy forum for you to ask or view questions you may have concerning the Wallkill Area Little League. This site is monitored frequently by the Wallkill area Board. While we do everything we can to get you a prompt reply, should you have a question you wanted answered immediately or not viewed by others feel free to e-mail any of the Board members. My son has played in the minor I division for two seasons. Apparently the age was moved and he misses the cut off by 1 day..He was born on May 1 1999...If he was born on April 30 1999 He would make the cut. I understand there are certain requirements but it was changed during off-season and like I said he has played this league for two seasons. Needless to say he was excited to play but now he is discouraged in a bad way!!

We are sorry that your son missed the cut off by one day. This policy was changed by Little League International 2 years ago (for the 2006 season). This would have only affected anyone on the first year it was instituted. While we do not make these rules, as a charted league we are required to follow them.

will there be a Senior league Team this year??

Unfortunately there will not. We only had one registration as of 2/15/08. Anyone who wishes to join may be able to play with the Town of Newburgh League. Registrations for them is ending shortly though.
